After this Mandaviya said that Corona has not gone yet. All concerned parties have to be alert and careful about this. On the other hand, NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul said that the third or precautionary dose of corona vaccines is mandatory. Everyone should take it.
After the meeting, Mandaviya tweeted, 'Because of the increasing corona cases in some countries, we reviewed the situation in the country with experts and officials. Covid is not gone yet. All concerned have been instructed to remain vigilant and strengthen monitoring. We are ready to deal with any situation.
Genome sequencing started in Delhi
Meanwhile, genome sequencing of corona-positive cases has been resumed. Following the order of the Central Government, positive samples are being collected for genome sequencing at Lok Nayak and ILBS Hospitals of the Delhi Government. Director of Lok Nayak Hospital, Dr. Suresh Kumar told that genome sequencing of positive samples will be done on daily basis. From this, it will be known whether any new variant of Corona is not flourishing. Significantly, new cases of corona in Japan, South Korea, Brazil, China, and America are increasing alarmingly.
The random investigation will be done at IGI Airport
Random checking will be done once again at Indira Gandhi International Airport. If sources are to be believed, people coming from Corona-affected countries will be compulsorily screened. It will be seen whether any passenger has any symptoms. If symptoms are found in anyone, he will be quarantined.
The situation in the country is still under control
If we look at the Corona figures of the last few days, 12 deaths have been registered in India due to infection in the last week. Not a single case of death has been reported for the last three days. This is the lowest in terms of daily deaths since March 2020. Talking about the cases of Corona, 1103 new cases of Corona have been registered in the last week.
Omicron's BF.7 wreaks havoc in China
Health experts said that the Omicron BF.7 sub-variant is responsible for the current increase in cases in China. There is a danger of three corona waves coming in the next three months. Due to this, 80 crore people can be infected and more than one million deaths have been feared.

The danger of this variant can also be in India. In October, the Gujarat Biotechnology Research Center confirmed the first case of infection due to this variant in the country. Apart from India, infection due to this variant has also been confirmed in many European countries.
INSACOG data shows that almost all sub-variants of Omicron found worldwide have been observed in India. At present, we are closely monitoring the situation, but there is no need to panic as the situation in India is under control.
