All concerned have been instructed to remain vigilant and strengthen monitoring. We are ready to deal with any situation.
Genome sequencing started in Delhi
Meanwhile, genome sequencing of corona-positive cases has been resumed. Following the order of the Central Government, positive samples are being collected for genome sequencing at Lok Nayak and ILBS Hospitals of the Delhi Government. Director of Lok Nayak Hospital, Dr. Suresh Kumar told that genome sequencing of positive samples will be done on daily basis. From this, it will be known whether any new variant of Corona is not flourishing. Significantly, new cases of corona in Japan, South Korea, Brazil, China, and America are increasing alarmingly.
The random investigation will be done at IGI Airport
Random checking will be done once again at Indira Gandhi International Airport. If sources are to be believed, people coming from Corona-affected countries will be compulsorily screened. It will be seen whether any passenger has any symptoms. If symptoms are found in anyone, he will be quarantined.
The situation in the country is still under control
If we look at the Corona figures of the last few days, 12 deaths have been registered in India due to infection in the last week. Not a single case of death has been reported for the last three days. This is the lowest in terms of daily deaths since March 2020. Talking about the cases of Corona, 1103 new cases of Corona have been registered in the last week.
