The meeting is being jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance and the Reserve Bank of India. It provides an effective platform for global economic dialogue and policy coordination. The first Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting will be held in Bengaluru from February 23-25, 2023.
The G20 FCBD meeting, which began today, will be co-chaired by Ajay Seth, Secretary, of the Department of Economic Affairs, and Dr. Michael D Patra, Deputy Governor, of RBI. The meeting is being attended by their counterparts from G20 member countries and international organizations invited by India including several other countries.
