Arvind Kejriwal Arrest: AAP faces leadership crisis, Kejriwal will rule from jail or one of them will take command

As evening approaches, high voltage drama has started in Delhi. The Enforcement Directorate team reached the Chief Minister's residence on Flag Road and started interrogating Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor policy matter. As night fell, news came that he had been arrested. After this, the question of leadership crisis arose before the Delhi government.

It became a common discussion that if the Chief Minister goes to jail then who will be the Chief Minister of Delhi? Not only this, doubts also began to arise over the alliance with Congress. Congress also released the list of Lok Sabha candidates but the names of candidates from three Lok Sabha seats of Delhi did not appear in it. However, AAP had run a signature campaign in which 90 percent of people had said that the Chief Minister would rule Delhi from jail itself.

A big upsurge was seen in Delhi politics on Thursday night. BJP was completely attacking the Aam Aadmi Party. Congress party maintained silence. On the other hand, some big leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party remained vocal after the arrest of their chief and even said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal would take over the power of Delhi from jail itself.

Many AAP MLAs were in a state of confusion about whether they should go to the Chief Minister's residence or not. They also had doubts about being placed under house arrest. There was also a common discussion in the Aam Aadmi Party as to who would be the next Chief Minister. If sources are to be believed, due to Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain being in jail, ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj have emerged as strong leaders. It is also being speculated that Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal can also take power.

However, in this situation, a consensus will have to be reached so that there is no resentment among many leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party and the party remains united.

Here, there is doubt over the alliance due to the silence of the Congress Party. The party is also afraid that if corruption cases arise more rapidly then the candidates will have to bear the brunt of it. Workers will also not enter the election season with hot enthusiasm. Similarly, a camp of Congress is quite angry with the alliance. On the other hand, the policy of the Congress could also be to bring its scattered cadre back to the Congress side on this pretext.

Challengeable leader, if AAP's survey is to be believed then Kejriwal will rule Delhi from jail itself.

Now the challenge before the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is to bring forward a capable leader. Who can handle both the party and the government in Delhi in his absence? Apart from former IRS officer Sunita Kejriwal, Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj can also stake claim. Atishi has the highest number of departments in the Delhi government including education, finance, PWD, revenue, and services. She is also considered close to Kejriwal. There has also been an attack on the BJP. Bhardwaj is a key member of the Delhi Cabinet, holding several important portfolios including health and urban development. He, too, is a well-known face of the party, often defending the party and its leaders and counter-attacking the BJP and its government at the Center on political issues.

AAP leader Kumar Gautam says that in December last year, AAP had launched a signature campaign. "Main Bhi Kejriwal" in which people were asked whether he should resign from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi or run the government from jail if he is arrested. During the campaign, 90 percent of people thought that Kejriwal had the mandate of Delhi. Is the elected Chief Minister. He has been in jail or it was said that the Chief Minister will remain there. Delhi government had also surveyed in this regard and the same thing had come out that Arvind Kejriwal will take power from jail itself.
