Gadar 2 Box Office Day 5: Sunny Deol's roar rocked theaters on Independence Day, Gadar 2 included in 200 crore club

Sunny Deol and Manisha Patel's film Gadar 2 has captured the theatres. The film is getting as much love as Gadar which came 22 years ago. Gadar 2 rocked the box office in just 5 days of its release. On Independence Day, the film earned such that it directly entered the 200 crore club.

 

Gadar 2 has been released a few days back on 11th August. The film took a good start at the box office as soon as it arrived and opened the account with 40 crores on the opening day. After this, the film entered the 100 crore club on the first weekend itself.

Gadar 2 went on to do a net business of 43 crores on the second day of its release. At the same time, the collection crossed 50 crores on Sunday. With this, Gadar 2 collected 134.58 crores in its opening weekend.

 

Gadar 2 was surprised in Monday's test

Box office where most of the films falter in Monday test. On the other hand, Gadar 2 made huge money. The film dropped slightly on Monday and collected 38.70 crores. Now talking about the Independence Day business of Gadar 2, the film earned more than the opening day.

Sunny Deol's film did phenomenal business on 15th August. On Tuesday, Gadar 2 collected around 55.5 crores (early figures) net across the country, reports Sacnilk. With this, the film has done a lifetime net business of 229 crores in just five days at the domestic box office.

 

Mutiny again after 22 years

Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma, who also made Gadar 22 years ago. The film stars Utkarsh Sharma in an important role along with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. Utkarsh has played the role of Sunny Deol's son in Gadar 2. Apart from them, Simrat Kaur is also a part of the film.
