The coronavirus spread to 11 states.
According to central health officials, the situation of the coronavirus is under control. All aspects of the situation have been considered in a meeting of officials of the Union Health Ministry and ICMR on Monday. All the cases registered so far are of the moderate category, and no patient has been registered in the severe category. According to the government, given the situation, the activity of investigation and monitoring has been increased, and there is nothing to worry about.
The country has full arrangements to deal with any situation. But even after this, the truth is that Corona has spread to 11 states of the country. This includes Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Puducherry, West Bengal, Sikkim, Rajasthan and Karnataka.
Last time China was said to be the main reason for the spread of Corona. However, China had lodged strong objection to this. But this time Corona has already spread its feet in Singapore and Hong Kong. When it reaches other countries, we will have to be active to handle the situation.
Endemic effect of coronavirus is possible: Dr. Mamta Tyagi
Max Hospital's health expert, Dr. Mamta Tyagi, told Amar Ujala that any type of epidemic becomes endemic after some time. During this time, the virus remains present in the environment, but its ability to infect and infectious rate decreases. Since herd immunity has developed in society regarding COVID-19, its effect will not be very fatal. But even after this, people should be cautious.
Dr. Mamta Tyagi said that sometimes some viruses make huge changes in themselves and they attack people with new infectious ability, but the new cases of Corona that have come up so far do not indicate that this new strain is very deadly or infectious. In such a situation, people should not worry too much. But one should try to avoid it by being careful.
New mutation not dangerous: Health Expert
Dr. Sandeep Nair, who was the nodal in-charge of corona cases at Delhi's BLK Hospital during COVID-19, told Amar Ujala that the new mutation of Corona JN-1 is not of a dangerous category. Its ability to infect people has also been found to be limited. It is not as explosive as the second version of Corona. If this were the case, by now, a large number of coronavirus patients would have come to the fore.
Dr. Sandeep Nair said that patients who are affected by this infectious virus may have mild symptoms of fever and cough. The effect of this virus can have a negative effect on patients suffering from other diseases. In such a situation, people who have any other serious disease should be cautious. Patients should immediately consult a doctor if any symptoms appear. One should not panic even if found COVID-positive. Its treatment is generally available everywhere. If found positive, one should get treatment from a good doctor.
What should be done?
As a precaution, sick people should start wearing masks before going to public places. As a precautionary measure, even normal people should not unnecessarily go to crowded places. They should wash their hands from time to time and avoid touching their eyes and noses repeatedly with their hands.
