After the warning of Hindu organizations not to allow non-Hindus to enter Garba pandals during the ongoing Navratri festival across the country, cases of assault have started coming to the fore. VHP and Bajrang Dal created a ruckus when non-Hindu youths reached the Garba program at Karnavati Club in Ahmedabad. Activists of Hindu organizations investigated non-Hindus among the people present in the pandal. During this three youths were arrested. While two escaped, one was thrashed fiercely.
Not only in Ahmedabad but also in Indore, there was a ruckus on the information about the entry of non-Hindus into Garba pandals. The situation turned tense on Tuesday night at the Karnavati Garba ground in Ahmedabad city when two-three Muslim youths were nabbed by Hindu organizations. After this, some youths thrashed them fiercely and they were thrown out of the field. The video of this incident is going viral on social media.
VHP and Bajrang Dal allege that Muslim youths go to Garba pandals with the wrong intention to attract Hindu girls. Let us tell you, Madhya Pradesh Culture Minister Usha Thakur had warned in this regard even before the start of Navratri. He had said that minorities are bored with their religion. If he has faith in idol worship, then he can come with his family to the Garba festival. The poor will not be allowed to become the abode of love jihad.
According to Gujarat VHP spokesperson Hitendra Singh, there was news of some Muslim youths reaching the Garba near SP Ring Road in Ahmedabad. Along with them, many Bajrang Dal workers also reached the spot and caught some youths. He was thrown out of the field with an explanation. During this, a youth who was trying to escape was beaten up by the workers.
Hitendra Singh said that we will continue the investigation of Garba pandals. People of some other religion are reaching the Garba venue to molest girls and do wrong things. We will not allow them to make the venues the den of love jihad.
