Ashok Gehlot also joined the race after Rahul Gandhi's decision not to contest the election.

After the rebellion of pro-Gehlot MLAs in Rajasthan Congress, the name of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was told out of the race for the post of president. However, Gehlot is not out of the race yet.
