Bharatiya Janata Party candidates have won all 11 seats in Gautam Budhgar, Ghaziabad, and Hapur, which are among the important districts of western Uttar Pradesh. In this episode, the BJP created history across the country by getting a record of more than 2 lakh votes on Sahibabad, the largest seat of Uttar Pradesh, while Pankaj Singh created the second record in the Noida seat. Both have won their respective seats with record votes. At the same time, the condition of the Bahujan Samaj Party in these seats was very bad. In most of the seats, she remained in third place and most of the candidates did not even get bail.
Overall, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has also lost her home district badly. Some of his respect was saved in the Jewar seat where BSP candidate Ravindra gave some competition to BJP's winner Thakur Dhirendra Singh. Despite this, Ravindra remained in second and third place here. Overall, the candidates of Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party tried to give competition to the BJP candidates with the second position, but the BSP was completely absent. Even Kripa Ram Sharma, the candidate of the Bahujan Samaj Party in the Noida seat, could not save the bail. It is a matter of relief for SP chief Akhilesh Yadav that the candidates gave a good fight in all three seats Noida, Dadri, and Jewar. While Dadri and Jewar have got decent votes, Sunil Chaudhary has secured the third position in Noida too.
BSP lost badly in Noida, Dadri and Jewar, SP-RLD candidate in second place
From the Noida seat, BJP candidate Pankaj Singh got 2,44,319 votes. His nearest rival, SP RLD alliance candidate Sunil Choudhary, got 62,806 votes. In the Dadri seat, BJP candidate Tejpal Nagar got 2,18,068 votes, while his nearest rival Rajkumar Bhati got 79,850 votes. Whereas from Jewar BJP candidate Dhirendra Singh got 1,17,205. His nearest rival RLD SP alliance candidate Avtar Singh Bhadana got 60890 votes.
It is worth mentioning that once again the Bharatiya Janata Party has won the Noida, Dadri, and Jewar assembly seats of Gautam Budh Nagar. SP's cycle could not run even this time in the district. In all three seats, there was a direct contest between the BJP and the SP RLD alliance. BSP and Congress candidates were far behind. BJP candidates have won with record votes, bypassing the protests against the unveiling of the Emperor Mihir Bhoj statue. Between the counting of votes in Phoolmandi, Noida Phase-II, amidst tight security, the BJP candidates had taken the lead from the first round, which lasted till the last round. As soon as the victory in all three seats was decided, BJP workers started celebrating the victory by blowing Abir Gulal amidst drums.
Let us inform that from Jewar BJP candidate and sitting MLA Dhirendra Singh took lead over BSP candidate Narendra Bhati Dada. In the third round, SP RLD alliance candidate Avtar Singh Bhadana came second, leaving BSP behind. Everyone's eyes were on the Noida seat as Pankaj Singh, son of Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, was in the fray. Pankaj Singh had also taken a more than two times to lead over his rival SP candidate from the first round which remained till the end.
Despite the Samrat Mihir Bhoj statue episode, the BJP was ahead from the beginning in Dadri too. With each round in all three seats, the difference of votes between the candidates of the BJP and SP RLD alliance increased. Counting of votes for Jewar took place in thirty, in Noida 38, and Dadri in 34 rounds. VVPAT slips were also counted along with EVMs of five percent booths of each assembly constituency. As the difference of opinion widened. The color of the faces of the party workers present at the counting site kept changing. One thousand police personnel were deployed to ensure transparency and security of counting votes. The counting process was videographed.
The condition of the Bahujan Samaj Party was very bad not only in Gautam Budh Nagar but also in its adjoining Ghaziabad. The BSP, which performed better in the 2012 assembly elections, is badly lagging in the state as well as in the district. At the same time, Congress could not repeat the old history. All the five candidates of both the BSP and Congress parties could not save their deposits in a single seat in the district. Apart from BSP, we spoke to the SP-RLD alliance and Congress leaders. Everyone gave reasons for the defeat in the election results. At the same time, the position of the Bahujan Samaj Party was not very good in all three seats of the Hapur district.
