Due to the change in weather in many states of North India including Delhi-NCR, there was heavy rain with strong thunderstorms. The Meteorological Department has forecast that even today, heavy rains will continue in states like Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, etc. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Delhi today will be 19 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature can go up to 34 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain cloudy today and there may be light rain. The Meteorological Department has forecast that people may face difficulties due to thunderstorms in some states. According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many places of Odisha today. Lightning, gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph, and hailstorms are very likely to occur at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand.

 

Rain wreaks havoc with the storm, 39 lives

 

Trees and electric poles were uprooted at many places in Uttar Pradesh due to the storm. Due to their grip, 21 people died in the state. In Haryana, a man sleeping in a hut died and a girl was electrocuted in Faridabad. Four people lost their lives in Punjab, five in Bihar, and five in MP. In Maihar, 80 passengers in 28 trolleys of the ropeway were stuck in the air for one and a half hours. Two people died in Haridwar.

 

Rainstorm in these states today - the possibility of rain

 

Light rain is forecast in these states today and tomorrow in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and East Rajasthan. Apart from this, heavy rain may occur over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand today and tomorrow, and today in Punjab. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand today. During the next 2 days, scattered, moderate rains are very likely over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha.

 

Chance of rain with a strong storm in UP, yellow alert issued

 

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Uttar Pradesh today. People have breathed a sigh of relief amid the scorching heat due to the sudden change in the mood of the weather in UP. Even today, it is cloudy in many districts since morning. With this, there is a possibility of strong thunderstorms and rain. The rain that occurred in many districts including Ghaziabad and Firozabad late on Monday night has given people a sigh of relief amidst the scorching heat. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain like this for the next few days.

 

Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert in Himachal

 

Thunderstorm and hailstorm alert in all districts except Lahul of Himachal Pradesh. A yellow alert was issued. Rain is likely in many areas. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will drop further due to thunderstorms, rain, and hail.

 

Chance of rain and hailstorm in Uttarakhand

 

The sequence of rain and hailstorm will continue in the mountainous areas of Uttarakhand. Snowfall is expected on the higher peaks. According to the Meteorological Center, a yellow alert has been issued for hailstorms and rain in the mountains on Tuesday. Heavy rain may occur at isolated places in the Kumaon division. At the same time, in the plains, the speed of 90 km per hour can be stormy.

 

Rain forecast in Punjab, Orange alert issued

 

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a forecast of rain with winds at many places in Punjab on Tuesday. According to the weather forecast, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in most areas of Punjab. An orange alert has also been issued regarding this.
