Gonda Train Accident: New revelation in Gonda accident, this is why the train derailed; secret revealed by joint investigation report.

In the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express derailment on the Gonda-Mankapur rail section, the investigation committee raised serious questions with the engineering department. Five officials of the six-member committee held the condition of the track responsible for the accident, while one official gave prominence to the reason for speeding and sudden braking. The joint investigation report has been sent to the Railway Board.

 

Let us tell you that four passengers died in the train accident on Thursday. 33 passengers were injured. After the accident, railway teams conducted a preliminary investigation, and along with this, the CRS investigation started.

 

The six-member joint team of departmental officials found in the investigation that the fasting of the track (equipment installed in the line) was not in order. After the IMR was detected, the side protection was not done till the caution order of the train was received. Due to this, the train derailed.

 

According to the investigation report, the employees did not regularly monitor and maintain the down track number 638 between Motiganj-Jhilahi railway station. Flaws have been found in many places on it. The device between the track and the sleeper was not tightened properly.

 

The loco pilot's statement also revealed the track's shortcomings

The train driver Tribhuvan Narayan told the investigation team that the train was running at a speed of 30 kmph due to the home signal of Motiganj station being yellow, but when the train was reaching Motiganj station and the starter was let off, the train was run through at a speed of 80 kmph.

 

There was a big jolt at track number-638 km and a rattling sound started coming. It was told that after getting the signal from the device installed in the engine, the emergency brake was applied and the train was stopped. After this, the accident was known.

 

The forensic team took samples.

The Railway Safety Commissioner (CRS) is preparing a report to know the reason for the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express accident. The railway investigation teams found the track shifted about four feet from its current position. There was water near the track. Due to this, the track was weak. This is the reason why the forensic team took samples of iron and soil from the track.

 

Down line restored 14 hours after the accident in Amroha

The down line was restored by 2:15 pm on Sunday, 14 hours after the goods train accident near Amroha railway station. The up line was also started at 4:30 pm. Meanwhile, the route of 34 trains was diverted, while six passenger trains were canceled.

 

Let us tell you that on Saturday at 7:10 pm, a goods train going from Gonda to Ghaziabad derailed near Kalyanpura railway gate located at some distance from Amroha station. 10 wagons of the goods train overturned. Up and down were disrupted in this accident. Railway electric poles were broken. The sleepers of the track were also damaged.
