Police have traced a man who threatened to kill Bollywood superstar Salman Khan from Vadodara district of Gujarat. On Tuesday, police informed that this 26-year-old youth is mentally unstable and is undergoing treatment.

Police action on threatening message

On Sunday, a message came on the WhatsApp helpline of Mumbai Traffic Police, in which Salman Khan was threatened. The message said that Salman's car will be blown up with a bomb and he will be attacked by entering his house. Salman has already been given Y-plus security, but after this threat, Mumbai's Worli Police took immediate action. Police registered a case of criminal threat against an unknown person under section 351 (2) (3) of the Indian Justice Code. Also, the police increased security outside Salman's house in Bandra.

This thing came to light in the investigation

When Mumbai Police started investigating this matter, it was found that this threat was sent by a person living in Vadodara's Waghodiya taluka. Vadodara Superintendent of Police Rohan Anand informed that on Monday a team of Mumbai Police reached the man's house along with Waghodiya police. Investigation revealed that this 26-year-old youth is mentally unstable and is also undergoing treatment. The police gave him a notice to come to Mumbai for questioning and returned.

Salman Khan has received death threats many times before. In April last year, two bike riders fired four bullets outside Salman's Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. Apart from this, Lawrence Bishnoi gang also threatened Salman. The gang had asked Salman to apologize to the Bishnoi community, as Salman was accused of hunting a black buck in 1998. After these threats, Mumbai Police gave Y-plus security to Salman.

Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' flopped

Talking about the work front, Salman Khan's film 'Sikandar' has been released recently. Rashmika Mandanna is also with him in this film. However, this film has proved to be a huge flop at the box office.
