Gonda Train Accident: Passengers' troubles increased as more than 100 trains were affected, a special train left for Assam

Due to the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express accident, the wheels of trains running on this route have stopped. Due to the breakage of the track and the coaches scattered on the track, many trains going to and coming from Delhi have also been affected. Some trains have been run on diverted routes while many have been cancelled. Trains running on this route will be affected on Friday as well. More than 100 trains were affected due to the accident. Many trains have been cancelled and many have been run on diverted routes. A high-level investigation committee has been formed to investigate the causes of the accident. Work has been started to restore rail operations.

 

According to the information, till 12 night, work was going on to restore the situation at the spot. Divisional Railway Manager Aditya Kumar said that we are removing the coaches one by one. We are trying to finish it as soon as possible. We have all the necessary equipment.

 

Due to the accident, most of the trains were run on diverted routes via Mankapur-Ayodhya Cantt-Barabanki and Gonda-Bhadhni-Gorakhpur. Train number 15279 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal Express coming to Delhi has been run via the diverted route Mankapur-Ayodhya Cantt-Barabanki. Train number 12558 Anand Vihar Terminal-Muzaffarpur Express has been run via the diverted route Barabanki-Ayodhya Cantt-Mankapur. Similarly, 12566 New Delhi-Darbhanga Bihar Sampark Kranti Express has been run via the diverted route Barabanki-Ayodhya Cantt-Mankapur. Therefore, the timetable of trains going to and coming from Delhi on this route will be disrupted. Passengers will have to face problems due to this. Railway has decided to cancel train number 05131/05132 Gorakhpur-Bahraich-Gorakhpur passenger train, train number 05375/05376, train number 05033/05034 Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gorakhpur passenger train, train number 05469/05470 Gorakhpur-Nautanwa-Gorakhpur passenger train.

 

A special train with 600 passengers leaves for Assam

A special train carrying 600 passengers of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express left for Assam, officials said. On Thursday, 14 coaches of the train derailed near Gonda, killing 3 passengers and injuring 34.
