More than 7.5 crore people took a dip in the confluence on Mauni Amavasya on Wednesday in the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. If we look at the population, forget about the states of India, this population is more than the population of many countries. The population of countries like Spain, and Britain is less than the number of devotees who dip in Kumbh daily. Similarly, if we look at the population density, in a country like Australia, the population density is less than four persons per square km. On the other hand, if we combine the devotees who came on Mauni Amavasya and the population of Prayagraj, the population density of the district on the day of Mauni Amavasya was more than 15 thousand per square km.

The presence of people in Prayagraj is more than the largest country in Europe.

According to the figures till 8 pm, 7.64 crore people took a dip in Prayagraj on Mauni Amavasya. The population of the district is more than 72 lakhs. That is, more than 8.5 crore people were present in the district on the day of Mauni Amavasya. On the other hand, Germany, the largest country in Europe, which has a population of more than 8 crores, also fell short of the crowd that reached Prayagraj on the day of Mauni Amavasya. Similarly, the population of Britain is 6 crore 91 lakhs, while the population of France is only 6.65 crores.

Not only this, out of 54 countries in South America, only three countries had a population higher than Prayagraj on Mauni Amavasya. These include America, Brazil, and Mexico. While from Colombia, Argentina, and Canada to Uruguay, the presence of people on Mauni Amavasya in Prayagraj during the Maha Kumbh was less.

The population of Prayagraj was also higher than most countries in Asia.

The population of Prayagraj was also higher than Asian countries on the day of Mauni Amavasya. Out of the total 51 countries in Asia, only 10 countries had a population higher than Prayagraj on this day. At the same time, from Vietnam with a population of 10 crores to Iran with a population of 9 crores, the population was less than Prayagraj. In Asia, only China, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Japan, and Philippines, Vietnam, Iran, and Turkey have a higher population than Prayagraj on the day of Mauni Amavasya. There are only 18 countries in the world, including India, whose population is more than 85 million.
