new Delhi. In order to give relief to industries in the wake of COVID-19 Crisis, the Central Government is going to announce the Relief Package for Industries very soon. National Highway and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari gave information about this on Monday. During this, he also said that the government has its limits. We are doing everything possible at our level to save everyone.

Gadkari said during a conversation with Telangana industry and commerce members through video conferencing, "Within about 2 to 3 days, the government can announce a relief package."

Recommendations have been sent to Finance Ministry and PMO

Nitin Gadkari is also the Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Industries (MSME). He said that the MSME Ministry has also sent its recommendations to the Ministry of Finance and the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). Last month itself, Gadkari said that the central government is working on a relief package of Rs 1 lakh crore to ensure that small businesses can get the outstanding refunds on time and that there is no problem in doing their business.

MSME sector needs government support

Significantly, the lockdown has had the greatest impact on the MSME sector, which plays a key role in the country's GDP and employs millions of people. However, for the poor, farmers and small businessmen, the Ministry of Finance and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) have taken several steps. But despite this, many steps still need to be taken to strengthen the MSME sector.

On Monday, Gadkari also said that the central government will continuously support all industries. He said that the industries also have to understand that the financial position of the government is also under pressure.
