Aam Aadmi Party is seen emerging rapidly in the politics of the country. After the victory in Delhi and Punjab, in the exit polls on Monday, the Aam Aadmi Party seems to be moving towards victory in the elections of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Along with this, many exit polls are also speculating that the Aam Aadmi Party's account can be opened in Gujarat as well.
Even if the average of all exit polls is taken, the Aam Aadmi Party is expected to win eight seats in Gujarat. In such a situation, even though AAP's dream of forming the government in Gujarat will be shattered, despite this it will be considered a big success for Arvind Kejriwal's party. Then why shouldn't the Aam Aadmi Party get only two seats instead of eight? Let's know how...?
What is the equation called?
In fact, after winning big in Delhi and Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party has moved fast towards becoming a national party. In the last several state elections, the Aam Aadmi Party also tried for this. However, the benefit was not available then. Now the exit polls of Gujarat are indicating that Aam Aadmi Party may get the status of 'National Political Party.
Senior journalist Pramod Kumar Singh says, 'There are certain conditions to get the status of a national political party. Any party can become national if these conditions are met. Aam Aadmi Party has done a great job in Punjab after Delhi. Now the exit poll estimates show that AAP may get some seats in Gujarat as well. If this happens then you will fulfill those conditions.
He told, 'At present, there is an Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi and Punjab. The Aam Aadmi Party got 6.8 percent of the total votes in the Goa assembly elections as well. Two of your candidates won here. In August itself, according to the announcement of the Election Commission, AAP has become a recognized party in Goa as well. In such a situation, if Kejriwal's party gets recognition in one more state, it will officially get the status of a national party. If the Aam Aadmi Party wins more than two seats in Gujarat, it can become a national party.
What are the conditions for becoming a national party?
A party won 2 percent of the seats in the Lok Sabha elections in three states.
In addition to four Lok Sabha seats, a party must secure at least six percent of the votes in the Lok Sabha or at least six percent of the votes polled in four or more states in assembly elections.
A party should be recognized as a regional party in four or more states. In the year 2019, NPP got the status of a national party based on this condition.
Now it is estimated that after the results of Gujarat, the Aam Aadmi Party will also fulfill this condition.
The party which fulfills even one of these conditions gets the status of a national party.
