Rahul Gandhi: Axis My India CMD's reply to Rahul Gandhi on calling Exit Polls 'Modi Media Poll', said - this is like sour grapes

On Congress leader Rahul Gandhi calling the exit polls (Exit Polls 2024) a 'Modi Media Poll' and 'Fantasy Poll', India Today-Axis My India CMD Pradeep Gupta said that this is a matter of sour grapes.

He said, that when India Today-Axis My India showed him winning in Karnataka, Himachal, and Telangana in the exit poll, he liked the same exit poll. He has the right, he can take it in any form. He said, Rahul Gandhi is not seen as a brand. Idioms like Khata Khat are effective only when there is some content in them, if marketing is done without the product, then it does not work.

On the alliance between AAP and Congress in Delhi and fighting the elections separately in Punjab, he said, everyone wants a strong and empowered government. The absence of an alliance shows that you have so many differences among yourselves, so on what basis are you asking for votes from the public?

On the success of BJP in the South, he said, it is human nature that after a time the public wants change. People in the southern states are seeing that the work of the central government in the last 10 years has benefited the people. BJP has worked hard. Although BJP is winning only two four seats, this is how one starts. The Modi factor has helped BJP the most in this Lok Sabha election. There is a wave in favor of the Modi government.

Regarding the Arvind Kejriwal factor in Lok Sabha elections, Gupta said, we have seen that Kejriwal does well in assembly elections. People know that even if AAP is voted for in the Lok Sabha elections, the Aam Aadmi Party government will not be formed at the center. People believe in giving a clear mandate. This is the reason why such a big victory of BJP is seen in the exit polls.
