The agitation of the farmers, who have been protesting against the three new agricultural laws at various borders of Delhi for almost two months, seems to be over. The police resumed vigorously after some miscreants hoisted the flag on the Red Fort and violence with the police during a farmers' parade organized on the occasion of the country's 72nd Republic Day. Police have registered an FIR against several farmer leaders, including Swaraj India founder Yogendra Yadav. Apart from this, the police have also detained 200 people, after which preparations are underway to arrest them.

Many langar tents and tents have been removed from the UP Gate, following which speculation is being raised that the agitation of the farmers may be over soon. United Farmers Front convened meeting
The United Kisan Morcha, the apex unit of farmer organizations, has called a meeting later Wednesday afternoon to discuss the violence during the tractor parade of farmers in the national capital. It is being said that any major decision can be taken in this meeting. Before the Morcha meeting, representatives of 32 organizations of Punjab will also meet on the Singhu border. The Sindhu border has been a major center of farmers' protests for the last nearly two months. A senior farmer leader said that the United Front meeting would be held at 3 pm on Wednesday and all aspects related to violence would be discussed during the tractor parade in Delhi.
Delhi Police registers FIR against farmer leaders
On Wednesday, the Delhi Police took strong action and registered an FIR against seven farmer leaders. Apart from Yogendra Yadav, Rakesh Tikait, Joginder Singh etc. are also named in these FIRs. Delhi Police said in a statement, "Farmer leaders Darshan Pal, Rajinder Singh, Balbir Singh Rajewal, Buta Singh Burjagil and Joginder Singh Ugra are named in the FIR of the Delhi Police in connection with the NOC violation in connection with the Kisan Tractor Rally. Apart from this, Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, is also named in the FIR.
