Covid Vaccination: 10 days of vaccination campaign for teenagers completed, the first dose given to 3 crore children

The pace of vaccination is increasing rapidly in the country. Adults, as well as adolescents, are increasingly being vaccinated. So far, the first dose of vaccine has been given to more than 30 million adolescents in the country. The vaccination campaign for adolescents started on January 3. So far, more than three crores 15 lakh children have registered for the dose of the vaccine.

 

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has congratulated the children for receiving three crore doses of the corona. He tweeted and said, 'More than 3 crore youth in the age group of 15-18 have received the first dose of Covid vaccine. I appeal to all my eligible young friends to get vaccinated at the earliest.

 

About 155 crore doses given

 

At the same time, more than 1 crore 54 lakh 75 thousand vaccine doses have been given in the country so far. More than 90 crore first doses while 64.64 crore second doses have been given. At the same time, about 28 lakh people have received publication doses.

 

Top 5 states in terms of vaccination

 

UP tops the list of most immunized states. More than 22 crore doses of vaccine have been given in UP. At the same time, more than 14 crores 16 lakh doses have been given in Maharashtra, more than 11 crores 20 lakh in West Bengal, more than 10 crores 64 lakh in Madhya Pradesh, and more than 10 crores 58 lakh in Bihar.
