Tirupati Devasthanam controversy is becoming a new weapon to settle old rivalries between the big artists of the Telugu film industry. In the noise of this controversy, the Hema Committee issue which started in Kerala has now almost been sidelined. And, even in the Mumbai film world, the discussion is that its heat which reached Telugu cinema has also been cooled by the controversy of fat being found in Laddus. The latest issue cropped up on Wednesday in Telugu cinema regarding the past of the state's Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.

In Andhra Pradesh politics, actor and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has been at loggerheads with former minister Perni Nani since the beginning. Nani has once again attacked Pawan Kalyan. According to him, Janasena chief Kalyan's faith in religion cannot be trusted. And, the atonement initiation that he is doing, really seems to be a rectification of the sins committed by him in the past.

According to media reports, Perni Nani on Wednesday raised questions about the religion of the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and asked, "Is this the same Pawan Kalyan who has been baptized? Is this the same Pawan Kalyan who has named his children according to Christianity and who was seen praying on his knees in the church during his visit to Russia?" Pawan Kalyan married Russian model Anna Lezhneva in 2013. His son from this marriage has been named Mark Shankar Pavanovich. This is Pawan's third marriage. He met Anna on the set of his film 'Teen Maar'.

Former minister Perni Nani did not stop there. Reiterating the old statements of actor Pawan Kalyan, he said that people still remember the days when Pawan had described himself as a person who did not believe in any religion. He had said in Bhimavaram that he had been baptized. He has visited the houses of his Muslim fans and before eating meat, he has asked whether it is Jhatka or Halal? And, now he is talking about Sanatana Dharma.

Strongly condemning the dragging of Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy's name into the political controversy, Perni Nani, according to media reports, said that those who make mistakes do penance. What Pawan Kalyan and his boss Chandrababu Naidu are doing is to malign the name of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. They came to power by making false promises and their false propaganda against Jagan Reddy is continuing.
