Heavy road accident in Bhagalpur, 9 migrant laborers killed in bus-truck collision

A major road accident occurred in Bhagalpur, Bihar on Tuesday. A bus and truck collision has claimed 9 lives. It is being told that a bus-truck collided face-to-face near Ambho village on Navagachia National Highway 31. The truck overturned after the collision, leaving workers aboard.

 

It is a matter of honor that all 35 passengers aboard the bus are safe, some people have suffered minor injuries. It is being told in unconfirmed information that about four bus passengers have suffered serious injuries. All the passengers in the bus were coming from Banka district. All the injured have been referred to JLNMCH Mayaganj Bhagalpur Hospital after primary treatment at Navagachia Subdivision Hospital.

 

Police sources have received information that the bus was going from Darbhanga to Banka. On the way, the truck driver had taken a bicycle riding migrant laborers on his truck near Tetti Jiromile of Navagachia. The truck had steel and iron rod loads. In front of toll tax, both of them collided face to face near NH 31.

 

The truck went and fell into the ditch. 9 to 10 people on the truck are getting information about the migrant laborers buried under the debris. At present, the police has arrived with the Navagachia Police defect and efforts are being made to remove the bodies with the help of JCB Kiran.

 

Explain that among the injured are Pramod Yadav, Jagdish Yadav of Bansi Rojha of Banka district, Bachu Khera of Khata Bari Katoria and Puran Khera. The JLNMCH has been referred to Mayaganj Bhagalpur Hospital after undergoing primary treatment at the Navagachhiya subdivision hospital. The injured said that they had come from Bangalore by Darbhanga Shramik Special train. Those people boarded a bus in Darbhanga. The bus stopped at Mansi. It is being told that during this time the driver and crew members had consumed some intoxicants, while some of the injured had drunk tea there. After this the bus driver started driving the bus at a high speed.

 

According to the information received, the bus was going to crash near Narayanpur, but narrowly survived. Around 5:30 pm, the bus hit a truck coming from the front near Ambho village. Navgachiya's Subdivision Officer Mukesh Kumar and Subdivision Police Officer Pravendra Bharti had reached the spot.
