On February 11, a daughter was getting married in a family of Ahirwar community in Garha village. The family had earlier applied for marriage at Bageshwar Dham's mass marriage conference but later decided to have a private function. As soon as he came to know about the marriage, Dhirendra Shastri's younger brother Shaligram along with some of his companions reached the wedding ceremony at around 12 o'clock in the night. Here he created a ruckus and threatened the people present there.

Frightened family members stopped the marriage. The procession returned and the relatives also left. However, after much persuasion, the marriage took place that very night. No one is speaking openly about who gave this advice and how the marriage took place. Now, after the video of Pandit Dhirendra Shastri's brother went viral, the police itself has registered an FIR. A special team has been formed for investigation. Police are looking for the accused.

Now know what is in the viral video...

On Saturday, Ram Asare, a resident of Gada village, made a post on Facebook. A video was attached to the post. In the video, Shaligram, brother of Pandit Dhirendra Shastri, was abusing people at a wedding ceremony. Started fighting while smoking a cigarette. When people tried to stop him, he took out his pistol and fired in the air. Waving Katta threatened that marriage will happen only in mass marriage conferences. He also misbehaved with the women present in the marriage ceremony.

Eyewitness Barai Ahirwar of Atkauhan village told that Shaligram had come with some boys. They refused to play Rai and started fighting while abusing. Even after entering the house, they thrashed and threatened.

Dhirendra Shastri called the victim, and the family refused

Ram Asare said in a Facebook post that soon after getting information about the riots in Shaligram, Pt. Dhirendra Shastri had called the victim's family to meet Bageshwar Dham, but the family refused. After this, the people of Bageshwar Dham came to the family house and took them with them to Dhirendra Shastri. Pandit Dhirendra Shastri talked about compensating the loss to the victim's family and asked them not to complain to the police.

SP said after the video went viral...

When the video went viral two days ago, Chhatarpur SP Sachin Sharma says that a video of Gada village of Bamitha police station went viral. This video was told on 11 February. A team was sent to Gada village for investigation. After investigation, a case has been registered against Shaligram Garg in other sections including assault and SC-ST Act. The statements of the villagers will also be taken in the matter. A preliminary investigation has revealed that the dispute took place over the playing of songs at a religious place. The matter of Katte has not been mentioned in the statement. Whatever evidence is found after investigation, further action will be taken.
