Hizbul Mujahideen is now counting its last breaths in Kashmir, once there were five thousand terrorists in the organization; only five left today

Amidst the stranglehold of the security forces in Kashmir and the dwindling support of common Kashmiris, Hizbul Mujahideen, a major organization of Kashmiri terrorists, has started counting its last breaths. Neither weapons, shelter, money, nor the company of Kashmiri youth is available. Once there were about five thousand terrorists in this organization, but today only five terrorists are left. Apart from this, both the overground worker and the financial network of Hizbul have been almost destroyed. At the same time, Pakistan has pushed Hizbul to the margins by raising many new terrorist organizations.

Kashmir's Mohammad Yusuf Shah alias Syed Salahuddin is the chief commander of this organization, who has been hiding in slave Jammu and Kashmir for 31 years. Hizbul Mujahideen was formed in September 1989 by the Pakistani intelligence agency. Master Ahsan Dar, a prominent Jamaat-e-Islami activist from Pattan Baramulla in North Kashmir, was made the first commander. Salahuddin became the Operation Chief Commander in the year 1991. Most of its cadre has been drawn from sections sympathetic to the Jamaat-e-Islami.

During three years, three dozen local youths became terrorists of Hizbul. Most of them have been killed. Till about four months ago, the number of Hizbul terrorists was eight to nine. At present, five terrorists are left. Farooq Nalli is the oldest among them. Others are new. Asif is six months old among the other four terrorists. The five terrorists are constantly changing their hideouts, sometimes in Pulwama and sometimes in Shopian.

Political activist Salim Reshi said that the way the security forces have eliminated all the key commanders of Hizbul Mujahideen and the way they have cracked down on their overground network, new recruitment has reduced or should be said to have stopped. Whoever became a terrorist during the last four-five years was in contact with Jihadi elements on the Internet media. He has been influenced by the ideology of organizations like Lashkar and Jaish rather than Hizbul or Jamaat-e-Islami.

 

Pakistan's new conspiracy after the removal of 370

Former Director General of Police Dr. Sheshpal Vaid said that today Pakistan does not need Hizbul Mujahideen. Because Hizbul has also become an internationally banned terrorist organization like Lashkar and Jaish. That's why the help of arms and money received by Hizbul has been cut. Common Kashmiris have also understood the reality of the slogan of independence and separatism. After the removal of Article-370, Pakistan has started preparing new ones instead of old terrorist organizations. In these, you can name The Resistance Front, Kashmiri Freedom Fighters, and People's Anti-Fascist Front. The ban on Jamaat-e-Islami has also done 50 percent work.
