Rahul tweeted – I am ready to give a speech

Rahul Gandhi had a tweet on his speech at Cambridge University on 16 February. He said that I am fully prepared to give a speech. He said that I am happy that I will get to interact with some of the best people in the world on international issues, international relations, data, and democracy.

Gave a speech in Cambridge in May 2022 as well, the statement on Modi was criticized

Rahul Gandhi had earlier visited Cambridge University in May 2022. Here he had to speak on the topic of Ideas for India. During this, Rahul Gandhi had said that the Modi government is not allowing the country's constitutional institutions like the Parliament and the Election Commission to do their work. The BJP objected to his statement. The question was asked why such a statement on the Prime Minister of the country be made abroad.

Rahul was a student at Cambridge, and took degree under another name due to security

Rahul Gandhi studied at Cambridge University under the name of Raul Vinci. He did his MPhil in Development Studies in 1995. The name had to be changed because everyone was worried about Rahul's safety after the assassination of his father Rajiv Gandhi. When the controversy started regarding Rahul's degree, then the Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge, Prof. Alison Richard also wrote a letter and told that Rahul had obtained a degree under the name of Raul Vinci.
