Delhi: Close to 100 vaccination centers

There is a huge shortage of vaccines in the country's capital, Delhi. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Wednesday that the supply of convicts in Delhi has stopped. The situation in Delhi is that it is now about to close about 100 vaccination centers. According to Sisodia, the Delhi government had demanded a total of 1.34 crore corona vaccines, of which 67 lakhs were included in the vaccine, but now the response has come from the people of the vaccine that they cannot give the vaccine.

 

 

Maharashtra: Vaccine deficiency, 18+ will not be vaccinated

Vaccination of people over 18 years of age has been stopped due to the lack of corona vaccine in Maharashtra. State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that only 35,000 covaxin doses are left in the state, while five lakh people have to be given a second dose of covaxine. A total of 2.75 lakh vaccine doses are available in the state at present. Vaccination of people between the ages of 18 and 44 has been discontinued due to lack of vaccine. The vaccine does now, only those over 45 years of age will be vaccinated.

 

Odisha: Corona's havoc, vaccine shortage

The second wave of the Coronavirus has caused havoc in many districts of Odisha. In such a situation, the state government has taken a big step to accelerate vaccination, but the lack of vaccines is coming in the way. Amidst this havoc in Corona, there was a cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, in which the global tender of the vaccine was stamped. That is, to get a large amount of vaccine, now the state government will approach national-international companies. Earlier Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra have drawn global tenders for Covid vaccines. Odisha becomes the fifth state to do so.

 

Vaccine shortage in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana as well

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister CN Ashwath Narayan said that vaccination of people between 18 and 44 years in the state has led to the vaccine shortage. For this, we are going to extract global tender for the supply of 20 million vaccines. At the same time, the statement of the Telangana government said that the state cabinet has decided to issue a global tender for the vaccine. Similarly, Andhra Pradesh officials said that a global tender will be issued for the vaccine within a day or two.

 

Chhattisgarh and Haryana also lack vaccines

There is a huge shortage of vaccines in Chhattisgarh and Haryana as well. The governments here have also appealed to the Center to provide vaccines in large quantities.
