Vishwa Hindu Parishad's International President Alok Kumar condemned the attack on the Hindu temple in Canada. VHP's Alok Kumar said on Monday (October 4) that the attack on the Hindu temple in Canada by Khalistani supporters is highly condemnable. He said that a camp was organized by the Indian Embassy there. The Embassy had given prior information about this to the Canadian government 3 days in advance and had also requested proper security. This was ignored.
He said that just now on October 31, on the occasion of Diwali, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had said in his statement that "Indo-Canadians represent the best of Canada". He also said, "We will always stand with Hindu Canadians to ensure their safety so that they can practice their religion freely and proudly."
'Hindu temples have been attacked before'
VHP said that this announcement of PM Trudeau proved to be hollow. VHP President said that this is not the first incident of attack on a temple in Canada. Earlier too, Hindu temples have been attacked in Greater Toronto, British Columbia, and Brampton. Justin Trudeau's popularity has declined in Canada. His MPs have publicly demanded his resignation.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad said that his chair depends on pro-Khalistani MPs, so he openly supports the Khalistanis. Due to this attitude of his, relations between India and Canada have also deteriorated. The basic principles of Canada, democracy, the rule of law, and secularism are also violated. We condemn the attack on the Hindu temple.
VHP issued a warning
Alok Kumar said that the current government of Canada and Khalistani supporters should not forget that the Hindus there also have the right to self-defense and they will use it if needed.
