The government has started identifying cold storage to contain the corona vaccine. Sources said that the capacity of the cold chain should be increased to the maximum in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Kerala, Telangana, and Delhi. Apart from this, cold storage will also have to be prepared in Assam, Jharkhand, Punjab, and Odisha.

3. Bihar
On Thursday, 1244 cases were reported, 1006 people recovered and 2 died. So far, 1 lakh 92 thousand 671 cases have been reported in the state. Out of these, 1 lakh 80 thousand 357 patients have been cured, while 929 infected people have died. 11 thousand 384 patients are under treatment.
4. Maharashtra
On Thursday, 13 thousand 397 cases were reported, 15 thousand 575 patients recovered and 358 died. So far, 14 lakh 93 thousand 884 cases have been reported in the state. Of these, 12 lakh 12 thousand 16 have been cured, 2 lakh 41 thousand 986 patients are still under treatment, while 39 thousand 430 patients have died.
5. Uttar Pradesh
On Thursday, 3133 cases were reported, 3690 patients recovered, 45 died. So far, 4 lakh 27 thousand 459 cases have been reported in the state, 3 lakh 78 thousand 662 patients have been cured, 42 thousand 552 are undergoing treatment, while 6245 have died.
