Valarmathi: The sound of sending off Chandrayaan-3 fell silent, ISRO scientist died of a heart attack

There is bad news for the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the people of the country. An ISRO scientist is no more. The voice counting down to India's Moon Mission i.e. Chandrayaan-3 became silent forever. Scientist Valaramathi passed away due to a heart attack.

Valarmathi, who made announcements with her unique voice at the Chandrayaan-3 mission launch, said goodbye to the world on Sunday evening. There has been a wave of mourning among ISRO scientists due to his demise.

Valarmathi, a resident of Ariyalur in Tamil Nadu, died on Sunday evening. He breathed his last in the capital Chennai. Chandrayaan 3, which landed on the Moon's North Pole on August 23 this year, was launched on July 14 from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. The launch countdown was voiced by Valarmathi.

Former ISRO scientist Dr PV Venkatakrishna condoled the demise of Valarmathi. He said that the voice of Valarmathi will no longer be heard in the countdown of ISRO's future missions from Sriharikota. Chandrayaan-3 was his last countdown. He said that he was deeply saddened by the news of Valarmathi's demise. At the same time, people are also expressing their grief on social media.

Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander landed on the lunar surface on August 23, adding a major achievement to India's name. India became the fourth country in the world, which made its mission to the moon successful. With this, it became the only country in the world which has made a landing on the South Pole. On Saturday, ISRO deactivated Pragyan Rover for the 11th day. Now Pragyan will start his work again after 14 days.
