Team India captain Shubman Gill performed brilliantly with the bat in the Edgbaston Test. Gill scored 269 runs in the first innings of IND vs ENG 2nd Test and 161 runs in the second innings. He became the first player in Test history to score 250 and 150+ runs in the same match. Gill's calm captaincy and strong batting helped India to put up a big score.
