The Indian team's dominance over South Africa in T20 for the last five years is in danger. It is necessary to win the third and final match on Thursday against the Indian team, which is 0-1 down after losing the second T20. By winning this match, India will be able to level the series at 1-1. If it loses, it will lose to South Africa in T20 after eight years. South Africa last won the T20 series in India in 2015–16 by 2–0. India till now Has not lost a single three-match T20 series in Africa.

Bowlers disappointed with performance

Indian bowlers had a miserable performance in the second T20 played at St. Georges Park Stadium in Gkebarha. Arshdeep Singh and Mukesh Kumar did not live up to expectations. Both gave runs at an economy of 15.50 and 11.33 runs per over. Deepak Chahar was missed as he was not playing due to his father being unwell.

Arshdeep bowled a brilliant final over in the fifth and final T20 against Australia, but he lacked consistency. Ravindra Jadeja, playing International T20 after one year and four months, also did not live up to the expectations in the second T20. He will also have to achieve good form in the final match. Mukesh needs to increase his speed further. Against Australia, he took four wickets but also gave 9.12 runs per over.

The opening pair will have to give a good start

Openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill could not adjust to the bounce of the pitch in the second match. Both the batsmen were out without opening the account. If India has to level the series then it is necessary for the opening pair to work. Rituraj Gaikwad is ill. If he is fine then he can be given a chance in the opening. Apart from this, Ishan Kishan can play as a wicketkeeper-batsman in place of Jitesh. At the same time, Shreyas Iyer can be given a chance in place of Tilak and Ravi Bishnoi can be given a chance in place of Kuldeep.

The good thing is that India's performance on this ground has been good in all three formats of cricket. India has played four T20 matches on this ground, in which it has won three and lost one. After this, both the teams have only four T20s left to prepare for the World Cup.

The glass of the media box was broken by Rinku's six.

The positive side in the second T20 was the batting of Rinku Singh and captain Suryakumar Yadav. Both the batsmen played innings of 68 and 56 runs. This was Rinku Singh's first half-century in T20 International. With his batting, he has strongly staked his claim as a finisher for the T20 World Cup. Rinku even hit such a big six in the second match that it even broke the glass of the media box.

Coetzee, Jensen will not play

When India plays in the third match, South Africa will also get some psychological advantage. South Africa's three main fast bowlers Gerald Coetzee, Marco Jansen, and Lungi Ngidi (injured) will not be available for this match. Coetzee and Jansen are going to play first-class cricket in preparation for the Test match. The. Captain Aiden Markram gave a brilliant all-round performance for Africa. Reeza Hendricks and Matthew Bretzke derailed the Indian fast bowlers.
