India Corona Vaccine: How long can the Corona vaccine arrive in the country? Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan told in Parliament

Amidst the fast-growing cases of Coronavirus in the country, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan told in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday how long the vaccine (Coronavirus Vaccine) is expected to come. Harshvardhan said that he hopes that by the beginning of next year, the people of the country will be able to get the Corona vaccine available.

 

Dr. Harsh Vardhan said in Rajya Sabha, 'India is trying like other countries. An expert group is overseeing this under the guidance of the Prime Minister and we have advanced planning. We hope to have the vaccine available in India by early next year.

 

He said that the death rate of the coronavirus in the country is currently the lowest (1.64) percent compared to other countries of the world and the government aims to reduce this death rate to less than one percent. Responding to the discussion in the Rajya Sabha on the coronavirus epidemic, Health and Family Welfare Minister Harsh Vardhan said that the health rate of Covid patients in India is 78 to 79 percent. He said that India is among the few countries with a high rate of recovery from Covid-19.

 

Harsh Vardhan said that even though the total number of coronavirus cases may be higher, the number of Covid patients being treated in hospitals is less than 20 percent. He said that the number of people who lost their lives due to the Covid epidemic in India is less than in many countries of Europe. The minister said that the government is considering conducting more COVID investigations in India than in the US.

 

 

Earlier, Union Minister Harsh Vardhan had assured the people that the government is taking full care of the vaccine's human trials. He had said, "Issues like vaccine safety, cost, equity, cold-chain requirements, production, deadlines etc. are also being discussed in-depth". Once the corona vaccine is ready, it will be made available to those who need it most.

 

Work on three corona vaccines in the country

 

Three Corona vaccines are underway in the country. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) had reported that three vaccines are being trialed in India and the third phase trial will begin soon after approval of one of them is soon. The Covid-19 vaccine being produced by Cadila Healthcare and Bharat Boyotech has completed the first phase of the trial. At the same time, the drug will be trialed at 1500 locations during Phase-3 by the Pune-based pharmaceutical manufacturer Serum Institute.
