The Union government on Sunday said the country's defense exports have grown by 334 percent in the last five years and India is now exporting to more than 75 countries due to participatory efforts. Indigenization and increased production

This includes the country's first indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant recently inducted into the Navy, a squadron of indigenous state-of-the-art light helicopter MK-3 being inducted into the Indian Coast Guard, and the successful test-fire of the nuclear-powered new generation ballistic missile Agni-P. is also mentioned.
India is the largest importer of defense products
