India Global Forum: India's focus on climate action is on prudent consumption: Bhupendra Yadav

Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav on Monday said that India is determined to be part of the solution to the climate change crisis. India's focus is on encouraging the world to consume wisely instead of mindlessly. Addressing the India Global Forum's Climate Finance and Technology Summit online in Abu Dhabi, Yadav said India looked forward to working in partnership with the UAE as the host of the COP28 summit next year. With India's presidency of the G20, a lot of synergies can be seen in this area. He also highlighted the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mission Life - or Lifestyle for Environment - climate action agenda. It invites the public as partners in the campaign to combat climate change.

 

The conference will run from 12 to 16 December

Let Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar inaugurate the India Global Forum UAE 2022 on Monday. It is a five-day event. In this, there will be a gathering of prominent political and business personalities from all over the world including India, and UAE. It is being organized from 12 to 16 December in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

 

The event is taking place at a time when India-UAE relations are getting stronger by the day. The Forum will provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs from both countries to work together for regional and global impact.
