India's star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra also has a lot of interest in cricket. He was present at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to watch the recently held World Cup final. However, in that match, Team India had to face defeat against Australia. Two weeks after that match, Neeraj Chopra has stated many aspects of cricket. He has named his favorite pacer. Neeraj has also advised the pacer to further increase his speed. Citing his experience of javelin throw, he advised the pacer to increase his speed.

Bumrah is Neeraj's favorite fast bowler

Tokyo Olympics and World Championship gold medalist Neeraj Chopra has described Jasprit Bumrah as his favorite fast bowler. Neeraj said- I like Bumrah. His bowling action is unique. I think Bumrah should lengthen his run-up so that his speed increases. I am telling this from my javelin throw experience. We often talk about how bowlers need to increase pace. If he takes his run up from a little behind then it is possible. I like Bumrah's style.

Neeraj currently has his eyes on the 2024 Olympics

Bumrah is one of the best pacers in India. He is currently the strike bowler of Team India in all three formats. 29-year-old Bumrah has so far taken 128 wickets in 30 Tests, 149 wickets in 89 ODIs, and 74 wickets in 62 T20s. Talking about Neeraj, 2023 was great for him. He became the first Indian to win a gold medal in the World Championships. Neeraj is one of the great athletes of India. He won the gold medal for the second consecutive time in the Asian Games. Neeraj's next big assignment is the 2024 Paris Olympics.
