The attacker is a resident of Jhalokati district of Bangladesh.
According to the police, the accused was about to flee to his native village when he was detained in Hiranandani Estate in Thane. According to the officer, it has been learned that the accused is a native of the Jhalokati district of Bangladesh.
Let us tell you that Saif's (Saif Ali Khan case) 56-year-old staff nurse Aleyamma Philip had filed a report against the attacker. The incident took place on January 16 around 2 am, during which Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife and suffered serious injuries. He even suffered a knife attack on his spine.

The police said that the accused entered actor Saif's house with the intention of stealing. According to the police, various investigation teams were formed to investigate the crime and a case has been registered under several sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS).
Earlier, during a press conference, Mumbai Police said that the accused is a Bangladeshi citizen. Zone 9 Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Dixit Gedam said that he does not have valid Indian documents. Some of the items seized indicate that he is a Bangladeshi citizen.
Labour contractor helped in the capture
Police said that a labour contractor helped Mumbai Police in catching the attacker. The labour contractor gave all the information about the attacker to the police and as per his information, the police traced the accused to a labour camp in a forested area of Thane.
The officer said the accused had earlier worked in a hotel in Thane and no criminal record has been found against his name so far.
