India Pakistan: America wants to start talks between India and Pakistan, Foreign Ministry gave a big statement

The US State Department said in a statement on Wednesday that the US is supportive of starting a dialogue between India and Pakistan. Foreign Ministry spokesman Matthew Miller said in a conversation with reporters that 'as we have said before, we will support direct dialogue between India and Pakistan on issues of concern'. The special thing is that this statement of America has come at a time when August 5 is the anniversary of the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Pakistani PM had expressed his desire for talks

Let us tell you that Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had recently expressed his desire to hold talks with India in one of his statements. The spokesperson of the US State Department was questioned about this statement by the Pakistani Prime Minister. A minerals conference was organized in Islamabad on Monday, in which Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif said that he is ready for talks with neighboring countries to rebuild the country.

 

America has already offered talks

Let us tell you that this is not the first time that America has supported the talks between India and Pakistan. In March this year also, the then spokesperson of the US State Department, Ned Price, had said in response to a question that the US is ready to hold talks between the two countries, but first, both countries should be ready for this. Ned Price had said that America is ready to mediate for talks as an ally of both countries.

 

America is also mediating with Israel and Saudi Arabia

Significantly, America is also playing the role of mediator for talks between Saudi Arabia and Israel, who were once the biggest opponents of each other. According to media reports, the head of Israel's intelligence department visited the US last week. During this, there was a long conversation between America's NSA Jack Sullivan and Mossad Chief Devin Barnia. Jack Sullivan also visited Saudi Arabia recently. There is a discussion in the media reports that America is holding talks between Israel and Saudi Arabia and diplomatic relations can be established between the two countries soon.
