In a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, it has been said that even after 13 years of the Mumbai attack, the culprits have not been punished. In the summons sent to the diplomat, the Ministry of External Affairs has reminded Pakistan of its commitment to terrorism, saying that it should not allow terrorist activities in the areas under its control. It said, "It is deeply saddened that even 13 years after this heinous terrorist attack, the families of 166 victims from 15 countries around the world still await justice." India has said that Pakistan has failed to take strict action against criminals.

 

MEA has claimed that the plot of this terrorist attack was hatched in Pakistan and from there all instructions were given to the terrorists. "We once again call upon the Government of Pakistan to drop double standards and bring the perpetrators of the horrific attack to justice," the statement added. "It is not only a matter of Pakistan's accountability to the families of innocent victims of terrorists, but it is also an international obligation," the foreign ministry said.
