Sunil Chhetri's team looked completely on the back foot in front of Qatar's excellent play. In the 86th minute of the match, Yousuf Abdsirag scored the third goal of the match for Qatar, penetrating India's defense. This goal of Yousuf sealed Qatar's victory. Despite millions of efforts, Indian players could not score a single goal in the match.

This was the reason why everyone expected a strong performance from the Indian team against Qatar. Qatar had defeated Afghanistan 8-1 in their last match.
