There was a partnership of 75 runs on 119 balls for the 5th wicket between the two. At one time the Indian team had lost 4 wickets for 86 runs. Captain Rohit Sharma 17, Shubman Gill 21, Virat Kohli 4, and Shreyas Iyer were dismissed after scoring 28 runs.
Sri Lanka's Lahiru Kumara and Chamika Karunaratne got 2-2 wickets. While Kasun Rajitha and Dhananjay de Silva got one success each.

Mohammed Siraj: Siraj gave Sri Lanka a jolt in the powerplay. Then came in the last over and took 2 wickets and prevented the Sri Lankan team from scoring big. He ended his spell with figures of 3 for 30 in 5.4 overs.
