Weather Update: From Delhi to Odisha, there will be heavy rains in these states for the next few days; IMD gave information

These days it is raining heavily in many states of the country. Torrential rains started in Delhi-NCR on Wednesday morning, due to which Delhiites, who have been suffering from the scorching heat for the last week, have got a lot of relief. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many districts of Maharashtra and Telangana today. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi for the next three days.

 

Schools and colleges closed in Raigad

Given the heavy rains, the Raigad district administration has declared a holiday for all schools and colleges on July 26. The Meteorological Department issued a 'red' alert for Raigarh district on Wednesday. Mumbai had predicted heavy to very heavy rain on Monday and issued an orange alert for six districts of Maharashtra till July 27.

Telangana is in trouble due to rain

Heavy rains lashed several parts of Telangana during the past 24 hours, leading to water-logging in some areas and blocking of road connectivity.

 

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) center on Wednesday said in the 'Warning of heavy rainfall for the districts of Telangana' that heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Karimnagar, Peddapalli and other districts from 1 am on July 25 to 8.30 am on July 26. Apart from this, Andhra Pradesh has also been predicted to receive heavy rains on July 25 and 27.

 

Fear of rain from Odisha to Punjab

 

The Meteorological Department informed on Tuesday that heavy rains are expected in states like Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and western Uttar Pradesh in northwest India. There is a possibility of rain in Himachal Pradesh till Friday.

 

There is a possibility of a cyclone near the southern coast of Odisha and the Bay of Bengal, due to which there is a possibility of heavy rains in many districts of Odisha and Bengal. IMD issued Orange Alert for Odisha on Wednesday.
