Indian Air Force will participate in Exercise Cobra Warrior, United Kingdom will send these fighter jets including Mirage

Exercise Cobra Warrior: An Indian Air Force contingent comprising 145 air warriors today departed from Air Force Station Jamnagar to participate in Exercise Cobra Warrior at Royal Air Force's Waddington Air Force Base in the United Kingdom. The exercise will start on March 6 and continue till March 24.

 

America will also be involved in the exercise

According to an official release from the Defense Ministry, "Exercise Cobra Warrior is a multilateral air exercise in which air forces from Finland, Sweden, South Africa, the United States of America, and Singapore will also participate along with the Royal Air Force and the IAF."

 

These fighter aircraft will be involved in the exercise

According to the Defense Ministry, the IAF is participating in the exercise this year with five Mirage 2000 fighter jets, two C-17 Globemaster III, and one IL-78 mid-air refueller aircraft. The exercise aims to participate in multiple combat aircraft engagements and learn from the best practices of various air forces.

 

Meanwhile, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary of the Indian Air Force addressed the officers of the High Command Course of all the 3 Services at the Army War College on February 25, 2023, on the capabilities of the IAF and the conduct of joint operations.
