Defense Minister Rajnath Singh today handed over many indigenous weapons to the army amidst increasing challenges on the country's borders. These include AK-203 and F-INSAS rifles as well as the new anti-personnel mine 'Nipun'. The new weapons have been developed by EEL and other Indian companies.

 

On this occasion, the Chief Engineer of the Indian Army, Lieutenant General Harpal Singh, on behalf of the Army Chief, assured the country that we are ready to deal with any threat. He said this while handing over state-of-the-art weapon systems to the army.

Demonstration of landing craft assault capability

 

The Indian Army today demonstrated to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh the capability of Landing Craft Assault deployed in Pangong Lake on the border with China. The boats can carry 35 combat troops at a time and can reach any area of ​​the lake in a very short time.
