Mohammad Siraj bowled brilliantly and spent only 21 runs in his 7-over spell and showed the way to the pavilion to six Sri Lankan batsmen. Siraj became the first Indian and second bowler overall to take six wickets in the history of the Asia Cup. The Indian team tasted its biggest victory in ODI cricket in the final of Asia Cup 2023. Team India defeated Sri Lanka by 10 wickets with 263 balls remaining and won the Asia Cup title for the 8th time.
