His tweet referred to the detailed announcement by the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi to introduce visas for students, businessmen, and families of those working in China.

The X1-Visa, according to the announcement, will be issued to students who want to go to China for a longer period of higher academic education. In addition to new students, these include students who want to return to China to continue their studies.

More than 23,000 Indian students went back home due to COVID visa restrictions. Most of them are medical students. The names of those who wished to return immediately to their studies in China were sought and after that India submitted a list of several hundred students. Some students from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Russia, and several other countries have already reached China on chartered flights in recent weeks.
