India-Pak Tension: Security of cantonment and airport increased in Lucknow, the intelligence system activated, and holidays may be cancelled

Due to the tense atmosphere between India and Pakistan, the cantonment, railway, and airport administration in Uttar Pradesh have geared up. Security has been increased at these places. Strict checking is being done at all the entry and exit points. Preparations are being made to monitor the railway stations with drones.

 

RPF escort is being increased in trains and patrolling with bulletproof vehicles has been increased at the airport. The army's intelligence system has also become alert. Every activity is being closely monitored.

 

Cantonment: Security increased, intelligence system on alert

 

After Pakistan attempted missile attacks on Thursday, India retaliated strongly. Since Lucknow is the headquarters of the army's largest central command, the security system has been made even more robust. Sources say that security has been increased at all entry points in the cantonment. Every visitor is being monitored with CCTV. Vehicles are also being checked. Documents and identity cards are being checked. There is a special eye on the suspects. Security has been increased around the Command Hospital and the Base Hospital. Sources say that the army's intelligence system and local intelligence are keeping a close watch on the cantonment as well as different major areas of the city. Information is also being shared by establishing coordination with civil police, the army, IB, etc.

 

Railways: Railway stations and routes will be monitored by drones.

 

Given the war-like situation, the railway administration can cancel the leaves of RPF and GRP jawans. The jawans have been informed about this, although the officers are not saying anything openly yet. Due to a shortage of staff, there is a plan to make the security system stronger by cancelling the leave. Railway sources say that major railway stations, including Charbagh and Lucknow Junction, will be monitored by drones. Officers have started preparing for this. The drone operation will be done from the control room. The integrated security system at the stations has been upgraded. Surveillance is being done with 155 CCTV cameras.

 

The escort will be increased in 54 trains.

 

Escort is being increased to strengthen security in trains. There will be surprise checks of suspicious passengers. RPF escort will be increased in 54 trains coming and going via Lucknow, so that untoward incidents can be prevented in trains.

 

Airport: Passengers should arrive with extra time

Amausi Airport administration has appealed to the passengers to reach the airport with extra time. CISF personnel are thoroughly checking the passengers before boarding and entry into the plane. The premises are being patrolled with bulletproof vehicles. The number of security personnel has also been increased here. CISF is keeping an eye on every inch.
