Star Indian players Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma, Arshdeep, and Harshit Rana will be aiming to seal the series in the second ODI of the India A-A series at Green Park on Friday. Captain Shreyas and Priyansh scored centuries in the first ODI, leading India A to a comprehensive 171-run victory.

 

 

The addition of four players who made a splash in the Asia Cup to the young brigade will boost the team's morale. India A players Shreyas Iyer, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma, Ravi Bishnoi, Riyan Parag, Arshdeep, and Harshit Rana will be able to perform well against Australia A and stake a claim for the Indian team's selection for the Australia tour.

 

 

The Australia tour begins on October 19th.

Therefore, the second match of the ODI series is crucial for the India A team. Therefore, the star players will strive to make a strong statement with both bat and ball to stake their claim for the ODI and T20 series in Australia, starting October 19th. Meanwhile, the practice sessions between India A and Australia A were postponed on Thursday due to rain.

 

 

Win the first ODI

Abhishek also joined on Thursday. In the first match of the three-match ODI series, India A scored a record 413 runs, thanks to centuries from captain Shreyas Iyer and opening batsman Priyanshu Arya. In response, Australia A were bowled out for 242.
