Australia defeated India by 9 wickets in the Indore Test on Thursday. India had given a target of 76 runs, which Australia achieved within 76 minutes of the start of the game. Travis Head played an inning of 49 runs. With this victory, the Kangaroo team made a 2-1 comeback in the four-match series. The last match of the series will be played from March 9 to 13 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

 

After the defeat, Indian captain Rohit Sharma said- 'The team decided to play on a spin-friendly pitch. We knew it would be challenging for our batsmen as well, but we were ready for it, although the Indian batsmen could not bat well in the first innings.

On the third day on Friday, the visiting team had a small target of 76 runs, although Ashwin raised the hopes of the Indian fans by dismissing Usman Khawaja for zero on the second ball of the day. Indian spinners were also effective in the first 11 overs, but the conditions changed in the 12th over as soon as the ball changed. Earlier, the Kangaroos had scored 13 runs.
