He said, that today the youth are seeing how India is working all round for progress, for self-reliance, for its presence in the global supply chain. These efforts will also increase their self-confidence and wherever a confident youth is, he changes the destiny of his country.

 

On this unprecedented occasion, more than 60 thousand colleges, universities, and education institutes in the country are also associated with us. This is a record in itself. Today we are creating history by leaping towards a bright future.

 

We have inaugurated 3 major projects worth approximately Rs 1.25 lakh crore for semiconductor manufacturing in India. These projects will help India become a global hub in semiconductor manufacturing.

PM Modi said, the 21st century is technology-driven and it cannot be imagined without electronic chips.

Will take India towards self-reliance and modernity.

 

Chip manufacturing will open avenues of development- PM

PM Modi further said that Chip Manufacturing is not just an industry, it opens the door to development, which is full of limitless possibilities.

 

This sector is not only going to create new employment opportunities in India but there is also going to be great progress in the field of Technological Advancement.

 

On one hand, we are rapidly reducing poverty in the country, and on the other hand, we are also building modern infrastructure in India and making the country self-reliant.

 

So far in 2024 alone, schemes worth more than Rs 12 lakh crore have been inaugurated and the foundation stone has been laid.
