Positive efforts have started at several levels simultaneously to improve relations between India and Pakistan. For the first time in two and a half years, a team of Pakistani officers arrived in Delhi, and on Tuesday a two-day meeting of the Permanent Commission on the sharing of the Indus River started. Foreign Ministry officials are not ready to say anything about this but are assuming that smoke does not arise without fire. This progress in relationships did not happen suddenly, but rather under a long process. On March 30, there will be a Heart Asia Conference in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. It will include Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. A meeting between the two leaders is possible there.

1. No ceasefire voiding after February 25
On 25 February, the hotline was negotiated by the Director-General of Military Operations of both countries. It was decided that ceasefire violations on the border would be ensured. Earlier in January, Pakistan broke the ceasefire a total of 336 times.
2. Leaders of both countries are not making tough statements, Pakistan disappears from elections
