Infosys: Narayana Murthy gave such a gift to his grandson, he became a billionaire at the age of four months

Ekagraha Rohan Murthy, grandson of Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy, has probably become the country's youngest millionaire. According to regulatory filings, Narayana Murthy has gifted Infosys shares worth Rs 240 crore to his four-month-old grandson.

 

According to the filing, Ekagraha Murthy has received 15 lakh shares of Infosys, which is equivalent to a 0.04 percent stake in the company. 77-year-old Narayan Murthy has gifted these shares to his grandson through an off-market transaction.

 

With this, Narayana Murthy's stake in Infosys has decreased by 0.36 percent. Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy became grandparents in November last year. Ekagraha's parents are Rohan Murthy and Aparna Krishnan. On Monday, the company's shares closed 1.92 percent lower at Rs 1,602.65 per unit on the NSE.
