“सीओवीआईडी -19 स्थिति के संदर्भ में और व्यापारिक संस्थाओं और व्यक्तियों को तत्काल राहत प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से, 5 लाख रुपये तक के सभी लंबित आयकर रिफंड जारी करने का निर्णय लिया गया है। 14 लाख करदाताओं, "राजस्व विभाग, वित्त मंत्रालय द्वारा एक बयान पढ़ा।
सरकार व्यापार संस्थाओं को राहत देने के लिए 18,000 करोड़ रुपये के लंबित जीएसटी और सीमा शुल्क रिफंड भी जारी करेगी।
बयान में आगे कहा गया, "सभी लंबित जीएसटी और कस्टम रिफंड जारी करने का भी फैसला किया गया है, जो एमएसएमई सहित लगभग 1 लाख व्यापारिक संस्थाओं को लाभ प्रदान करेगा। इस प्रकार, कुल रिफंड लगभग 18,000 करोड़ रुपये होगा।"
इस हफ्ते की शुरुआत में, आयकर विभाग ने COVID-19 संकट के बीच ब्याज आय पर स्रोत (TDS) पर कर कटौती से छूट का दावा करने के लिए व्यक्तियों के लिए मौजूदा वित्त वर्ष के लिए फॉर्म 15G और 15H जमा करने की समय सीमा बढ़ा दी।
